Jaundice

Zoey had a short fight against Jaundice a yellowing of the skin beginning at the head and eventually leading to the feet. It is caused by an immature liver and is common in most newborns. Our doctor was concerned for Zoey because is was rising fast, she prescribed a light treatment called a bili-blanket. Zoey used the biliblanket until her biliruben levels were below 10 ug/ml, after they had reached as high as 18 ug/ml. Danielle and I joked about the tail she had, or that she was our "Matrix" baby as the tail that went to the biliblanket was always connected to her and the main box.

Finally We are home!

Bambo Flooring almost complete.

Saturday and Sunday were spent finishing up the master bedroom. Here are some pictures showing my progress.

The former owners had nailed the floor panels into the
concrete floor, so removing them with a hammer was impossible.
Each nail had to be cut, there were about 40-50 nails to cut.

The completed patch job, it seems to match up pretty good.

Here I'm almost finished, but had to take care of
some other things so it will have to wait.

Destruction Corp!

Preparing the Master bedroom to receive new hardwood flooring.

After removing the carpet, the padding is left.

Under the padding, water damage is found. Yea!!!!!!!

It spreads all the way into the closet.

Here I have removed all of the tile and wood that was damaged. Leaving only the concrete floor.

Computer Fun June 2nd 2007

Messing with computers is one of my favorite things to do, here are some photos of the process I went through to get my PC the way i wanted it to be.

I painted the inside of the case, so it wasn't all ugly on the inside.

Installed a new LED fan on videocard.

Everything in and ready to start!

Ohhhhh pretty.

RE: Fun this Weekend

A few weekends ago my parents came over and helped me cleanup my front yard. I am so glad they came to help, there was just so much to do, and I couldn't have finished it alone.

Strange Cravings

I feel sorry for Danielle but I have to write this anyways. The other night the only thing she could think about all day was how badly she wanted to have a Totino's pizza for dinner. She told me to make two just incase, because it sounded so good. She went off to T-ball practice and about 10 minutes before she would come home I put them in the oven. Excited she sat down with me and we started having our dinner. About two or three slices into the pieces Zoey decided she did not want any more pizza. Danielle was so disapointed. She had watermelon instead I think. There is never a bad time for watermelon.

And no to people who may ask, she has not eaten peanut butter and pickles yet.

First Pictures of Zoey.

Last friday Danielle and myself went to the radiologist to see how our little one was doing. Danielle was having a rough time as she had to drink about 2 liters of water for her bladder to fill enough to get a good picture on the Ultrasound.

So here are our 1st pictures of Zoey Alicia.

Here is a ultrasound image from the side, you can see her forehead, nose and chin.

This is one of my favorite images, here you can see her foot in the upper right center.

Here is her first smile for the camera. She is very photogenic.
